Our paper on “Stochastic Robust Resource Allocation” got accepted in JPDC

20 Jun

Today, we received the final acceptance for our paper titled: “Stochastic-Based Robust Dynamic Resource Allocation in Heterogeneous Computing System” in the prestigious Journal of Parallel and Distributed Systems (JPDC).

The paper is a result of close collaboration with a research team at Colorado State University. The research team at Colorado State University is led by Professor Howard Jay Siegel and Professor Anthony Maciejewski. The initial version of the paper was submitted in May 2015 and the rigorous review process took more than one year.

The paper provides a resource allocation method that is robust against stochasticity in task execution times within heterogeneous distributed systems. We believe that the paper provides a solid contribution to the literature. You can learn more about the contribution of our paper here.
