Sc.<\/strong>, and <strong>B.Sc. (Interns, Capstone Project)<\/strong> students with the Computer Science\/Engineering background. Moreover, we welcome research scholars (visitors, sabbaticals) from around the world in our lab!<\/p>\n<h3>Areas of Interest<\/h3>\n<p>Our topics of interest include all aspects of <strong>Cloud 2.0<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Usable ML (and LLM) across Edge-Cloud (a.k.a. Cloud+AI)<\/li>\n<li>Domain-Specific Cloud Computing (Industry 4.0 Cloud, Multimedia Cloud, HPC Cloud, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Fluid Computing (across edge-to-cloud and multi-cloud)<\/li>\n<li>Democratized Cloud-native Application Development<\/li>\n<li>Heterogeneous Distributed Computing (ASICs+Cloud)<\/li>\n<li>Confidential Computing across Edge-Cloud Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Prerequisites for the HPCC Lab Members<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Enthusiasm<\/li>\n<li>Hard working<\/li>\n<li>Team Working<\/li>\n<li>Strong Computer Science\/Engineering background (mainly in Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Distributed Systems)<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills (mainly Java, C\/C++, and Python)<\/li>\n<li>Strong theory skills\u00a0 (mainly in Math and Statistics)<\/li>\n<li>Decent\u00a0communication and English skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Financial Support<\/h3>\n<p>Members\u00a0of the HPCC lab. can be supported in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research Assistantship (is available for some projects)<\/li>\n<li>Teaching Assistantship (is available for graduate students through\u00a0the school of Computing and Informatics)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How To Apply?<\/h3>\n<p>Simply email the HPCC lab director (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">mohsen.aminisalehi[at]unt.edu<\/span>) and attach your CV plus (informal) transcripts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Several Open Positions are Available at the HPCC Lab.
