Dr. Amini, director of HPCC lab, has awarded the “Certificate of Achievement in 
Innovation” from University of Louisiana Lafayette.
To receive that award, Dr. Amini first nominated as a “Rising Star in Research” from School of Computing and Informatics. Then, College of Sciences selected him to be awarded for “Achievement in Innovation”. The award was because of Dr. Amini’s research achievements in the area of High Performance Cloud Computing at UL Lafayette.
The presentation happened in “Research Recognition Reception for Academic Years 2014-2016” on November 17th 2016 at LITE Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
