Xiangbo Li has completed his dissertation on On-line Transcoding of Video Streams Using Cloud Services.
In his dissertation, Xiangbo has provided an architecture for Online Transcoding of Video Streams with consideration of cost and quality of service. In particular, he has proposed scheduling algorithms and VM provisioning policies that are both QoS- and Cost-aware. For that purpose, he has utilized heterogeneous VMs of Cloud Providers.
